 Greetings to all you CTFer's out there, For the past couple of weeks, all of us on the BiBS Developement Team have worked hard, and we have worked fast. But we are finally ready, and thus announcing the beginning of "Bring it Back Safely" - a European Capture The Flag Ladder. Sign-ups are now open, and will remain so, up until Saturday the 23rd May, so hurry up, grab your Clan and join in if you haven't already. To signup, first all team captains must register a player account. They will then be able to create a clan. Matches of the first week will be announced here, on Sunday the 24th May. Hidden Fortress We're kicking off our "6 new maps in 6 weeks" campaign with Hidden Fortress. Although new to QUAKE LIVE, this arena first appeared in the Sega Dreamcast version of QUAKE III Arena. Already considered the best new arena created for QUAKE III Dreamcast, we chose to make very few changes in bringing this classic map to QUAKE LIVE. The arena was originally created by Martin Kaai Cluney, a designer for Raster Productions. Kaai is now a designer at id Software working on the RAGE team. Hidden Fortress is a medium sized map with three main rooms - perfect for 6-10 player team deathmatch, clan arena and free for all gameplay. Although we chose to start with a classic map from the Dreamcast, we'll be debuting a mix of new and classic maps in the weeks to come. More here. |

What kind of competitions? We will kick off with Duel and TDM modes on the traditional ClanBase cup system, but with only two or more matches per week. Make sure to check ClanBase frequently to sign up as soon as we start! While you wait on #clanbase.ql for your favourite online league to start up Quake Live competitions, you may already want to register your Quake Live Name tag here. Please note that we might be using PB GUID in the future. If you don't have a Quake Live account yet head over to www.quakelive.com and register today! Also anscheinend schneller als in der ESL werden wir nen Team Cup erleben ! Also wer von unseren Membern noch nicht regestriert ist sollte das bald tun. |
